My mom has young looking skin, but not by good genes...she has skin younger than her real age (62 ahem..) But since she is camera shy, I took photographs of her fascination with anti-aging products from Japan -- Cosme DeCorte. And since in Malaysia, and most Asian countries, there is an obsession with fairer looking skin that clearly indicates health and prosperity. Not just snow-white skin, but skin that glows from whithin.

So here are the results from using Cosme DeCorte White Science mask and serum! I have to say that I am impressed although my freckles have not been wiped out. My skin is so much brighter now and I've been asked if I was a fresh graduate (ie less than my current age). I have to spread the word about this brand.

Those creams are my mom's, but that's great cause I know where I can find something new to try INSTANTLY!
The "whitening" creams will not cause skin to turn white, but rather brighten skin to give it a youthful glow. The ingredients normally used in whitening/brightening products controls the production of melanin in skin, which absorbs harmful UV from the sun and thus causing dark pigmentation on skin. So don't worry, you won't end up looking like Michael or LaToya Jackson :) You'll have healthy skin that's radiating!
If you have very sensitive skin, you might want to try something milder and not the Spots Concentrate. Perhaps, a brightening serum such as Bruno Vassari's Brightening Serum will work wonders on your skin. The challenge with whitening products that are off the shelf is that it is generally more drying than normal skin care, so use a hydrating serum like one from Aesop http://bit.ly/grg18z or Cosme DeCorte's Moisture Liposome.

Yes, my mom loves Cosme DeCorte and she has been a user for many years now. Kose Sekkisei is a good range to try as it has a much researched concoction of Japanese and Chinese herbs. I've also tried Shiseido Pure White, but I would choose Sekkisei over it.. but that's just personal preference.
She gets it from Japanese retail outlet - Isetan.
Not sure where you are writing from but do let us know if you can find it in your area!

Hi, am back to tell you I am glad I across your blog. My complexion has improved after 6mths usage. :-). I have used meliority, aq, aqmw, whitelogist spots correction, moisture liposome. Facial oil & lots of samples that the sales lady gave me. Of course meliority is the best of all. :-). Very very exp.. But I m close to 40 so have stick to meliority now. V effective product! Much much cheaper if you purchase in hong kong. I m surprised by the price gap. My husband now regularly stock up for me when he goes he for biz trip.
